MARGUERITE DESLAURIERS

Marguerite Deslauriers is working on two co-edited collections.

The first (with Lara Harwood-Ventura) is a volume of translations of Renaissance and early modern feminist works, from Italian, French, and Latin sources. The volume, Equality and Superiority: Texts from Renaissance and Early Modern Europe, is under contract with Oxford University Press for the series Oxford New Histories of Philosophy (series editors, Christia Mercer and Melvin Rogers).

The second is a volume of essays (co-edited with Martina Reuter) by an international group of established and emerging scholars, Philosophical Continuities in the History of Feminist Thought,  under contract with Oxford University Press.

Deslauriers is a co-investigator in two collaborative international research projects:

 

SSHRC Partnership Grant: Extending New Narratives in the History of Philosophy (co-applicant), 2020-27. PI Lisa Shapiro, Simon Fraser University/McGill University.

Academy of Finland, Academy Project: Gender in Renaissance and Early Modern Philosophy (co-applicant), 2022-2026. PI Martina Reuter, University of Jyväskylä.
